Aqua Perfecta
Aqua Perfecta is a water and air purifier company. Selling both water and air purifiers, you can have your home running more efficiently and healthier too. We were sent the PerfectAir Sense air purifier to review. Our review tells you why an air purifier is important and what we honestly think of it.

Why are Air Purifiers Important
In the future it is likely that air purifiers will be an integral part of the buildings. Aiding the eradication of various diseases caused by indoor air pollution. But sometimes it’s difficult to think about how polluted our indoor areas are. Especially when we’re often discussing outdoor pollution instead! However, indoor air pollution is a big issue that actually affects our health more than we realise.
Indoor Air Pollution

Indoor air pollution can be up to 5 times more harmful than outdoor air pollution and can be linked to a number of health issues including asthma. With many of us spending more time indoors it can put us at greater risk of breathing in polluted air that affects our health.
The causes of indoor air pollution can include moisture build-up, bacterial growth, cigarette smoke and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). VOC’s can be found in many household products including paints, aerosol sprays and cleaning products.
Being able to remove this indoor air pollution is very important if we want to look after family’s health.
Filtration
Considering the effect of indoor air pollution on our health, it is likely that reducing air pollution will be an important factor in tackling diseases in the future. For this reason, air purifiers may become essential to keep us all healthy, particularly in built-up areas.

The PerfectAir Sense has 8 stages of air filtration, including a pre-filter, HEPA 11 filter, activated carbon filter and virus killing technology. You can read more in depth information about the filtration stages here. Although you will need to replace filters over time, certain filters, such as the carbon filter can be washed in water to clean them rather than replace.
As part of the system you also need to add water to the machine. This is easy to do, just make sure you fill the tank full before you attempt to turn it on!
PerfectAir Sense
The Aqua Perfecta air purifier, PerfectAir Sense, has an impressive clean air delivery, able to purify air in a 46m² room in only 9 minutes! So it can easily purify the air in an average size room of 25m². As it’s a freestanding unit you can also easily move it around the house to use in other rooms throughout the day.
PerfectAir Sense arrives packaged and almost ready to go. You just need to take all the filters out, remove wrapping, then place them back in again in the correct order. Fill up the water tank and then the purifier is ready to go!

We’ve mostly had our air purifier in the living room with the kitchen door open too. This is around 40m and seems to be fairly easy for the purifier to cope with. The light in the purifier lets you know how good the current indoor air quality is, which is pretty useful. For example when my husband was cooking Lorne sausages on the hob the air purifier light turned red to indicate a lower air quality. It didn’t take long after cooking for it to change back to yellow, blue and then green. We’ve loved how simple it is to use and although we mostly use the automatic setting (where it adjust the settings to the air quality automatically), it’s also easy to adjust the settings manually. There’s even a child lock to stop kids fiddling with the settings and a remote control to change settings without getting up!
