I bought this wooden letter E from Hobbycraft months ago with the plan to somehow incorporate it into our gallery wall. I chose the letter ‘E’ as it’s the first letter of our surname. I decided it would be lovely to make a photo letter to tie it in with the current photos and prints.
What you need:
A wooden letter
Paint (I used leftover white wall paint mixed with yellow poster paint)
Print out of small black and white photos
Scissors
Glue
1. Paint the outer edge and inside edge of letter and let dry.
2. Cut out the photos and place in the letter, trimming where necessary until the letter is full.
3. Glue the photos down.
4. Once the glue has dried brush another layer of glue on top to seal the photos and give it a glossy look (apologies about the photo, the glue was still wet!).
What do you think? You could also use magazine cut-outs, stamps, band photos, wallpaper samples, recipes one whatever you want to personalise your own letter.

Love this! Looks great. I love having photos up but boring frames are a little dull so this is a great change. #HowtoSunday
