I always try to do a spring clean, although it’s never as successful as I hope! But this year, with two little ones wreaking havoc on our house I am also attempting have a little winter clean too.
I have been going through cupboards and getting rid of things we no longer need and finding places for the winter clutter of gloves, scarves, hats and boots.
The bathroom and kitchen have both been needing a good scrub down. Not so much dirt as the dust that gets stuck to skirting boards behind the toilet or the amount of food that jumps down behind our cooker (I really want a built in cooker one day!).
I have been kindly sent Dettol products to help with my cleaning;
Dettol Antibacterial Surface Cleanser, which cuts through the everyday mess young children leave behind, but is also bleach and taint free, so can become used on food preparation surfaces without worry. It’s also pretty good at cutting through that grease behind the cooker!
Dettol Power and Pure Advance Bathroom Wipes are fantastic for wiping down surfaces, it’s active ingredient breaks down into water and oxygen so it doesn’t leave behind any harsh chemical residue. These have been very useful at cleaning up the sink once the boys have cleaned their hands after messy play!
Dettol No Touch Antibacterial Hand Wash System is perfect for our kitchen, allowing me to wash my hands without touching the dispenser. These hand soaps have worked well so far, although you need to make sure you don’t place anything beneath it by accident!
These products have been great at helping with my winter cleaning and everyday mess and I love that they aren’t full of harsh chemicals, but still work!
