We are off on our holiday’s very soon and I’ve been busy making busy bag kit’s to keep O and A busy at the airport and on the plane’s. Of course I don’t want them to be heavy, bulky or too intricate, but hopefully these will entertain them for a short while at least!
1. First up is the crayon rubbings. They are simply pieces of cardboard with drawing made out of hot glue. Paper and crayons are included to make rubbings to make rubbings. They work really well, I made various drawings, including a boat, house, flower, rocket, train and O’s name as well.
2. Lego pictures. Simple 2D lego pictures of a house, flower, tree and rocket. I’ve taken a photograph of each picture and made it into a card so O can use the lego’s to create each picture on the cards.
3. Cars and road. I printed off this road from here: laminated it and put little cars from poundland in a bag for O and the same for A, but with bigger cars.
4. Lolly stick patterns. I’ve printed off these cards from here and included the correct number of lolly sticks for the patterns.
These are just a few of the ideas I have for the boy’s plane kit, I will post some more of our plane kit very soon. I will also be taking paper plates, as this post here, and lolly sticks, see here.

These are great. Mine are luckily obsessed with Usborne Sticker Books so I just have to get a few new ones in to keep them going for a short flight. #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

Sticker books are great, they unfortunately don’t keep O entertained long enough though! He played with his busy kit every day of the holiday too, so it was definitely a good make! 🙂 xx

We also play cars with handmade felt board on plane desk. Great idea of cardboard drawings with hot glue gun.
