There’s nothing better than a truly personalised gift, they are always the favourites in our pile of presents. The kids love anything with their name on it and us adults love photographs of happy times to remember the fun we’ve had.
So this is why a personalised photo calendar is likely to be on many people’s lists this year. It doesn’t even have to be a Christmas gift, it can simply be a beautiful item that you purchase for a fresh start in the new year. I enjoy having a lovely new calendar to write down all our trips and important dates for the new year.
Personalised Photo Calendar
Rosemood Stationery have a gorgeous foil stamped cover on their personalised photo calendar, featuring a small picture and the year of the calendar. Within each month you can choose to incorporate up to 4 images.
The spiral bound calendar makes it easy to turn the pages and a lot easier to hang on the wall. I know from past experience that those that simply have a hole in the paper can easily break.
The simple design and quality paper of the Rosemood personalised photo calendar means it will look beautiful wherever it’s set in your home. It’s also a fantastic keepsake for your family, storing memories for years to come!
Choosing The Photos
Choosing the photos is the tough part. Whittling down your photos to only a few each month can be difficult! The best way to make your decision is to first find all of your favourite photos, check from the previous couple of years. It can be nice to have some older photos mixed in with more recent pictures. Once you have them all selected check for the photo quality of each image and discount any that are blurry when enlarged.
If you would like more than 1 image on the page then it’s a good plan to make sure that they work together as a group, no clashing colours or bright with pale pictures. It’s also best to not have too much going on in the background if you choose to have multiple photos on one page.
Finally decide which month the photos look best for. I personally love to have snow or ice pictures in January and February and then the warmer sunny pictures for summer. This is personal preference and I know plenty of others will have holiday pictures on every month of the year.
