I used to be on time for everything, remembering all the essentials and being just extremely organised. Then along came the children and all that went awry, now we are often late or forgetting things…like nappies…or water.
What I need is a watch that I actually want to wear and suits my personality. As an ecologist, a wooden watch is perfect and adds that little connection to nature wherever I go.
There’s a quote that I particularly love – ‘It’s not about having time, it’s about making time’, which is rather apt. I’ll be making time for my boys and playing, reading and chasing them. Those little moments with our children are the ones that we’ll never get back, kids grow so quickly and we need to make time to enjoy all those little moments.
My new JORD watch will help me keep time of wherever we need to be and make time for the boys each and every day.
I love that I’ll also be looking smart with my Cora Zebrawood and Turquoise watch, with just a tiny bit of bling from the crystals. It looks gorgeous with casual clothing, but smart enough for when I need to dress up a little too. Admittedly that doesn’t happen that often!
