What do you do with all the leaves you collect on autumn walks? They are great for crafts and we have made several leaf craft activities already this year.
This is definitely a craft for the adults with a little help from kids, mainly as the glue gun is required. If your kids want to help then they could choose the leaves and positioning of any other items, but for younger children it’s best for the adult to do the glue gun work.
All you need is a polystyrene wreath, glue gun and glue sticks, leaves, conkers/acorns, ribbon and a spider with thread.
Take a bunch of leaves and glue them onto the wreath one at a time until the wreath is covered.
Glue on any extra decoration in the form of acorns or conkers on top.
Tie a plastic spider to a thread and glue the thread onto the back of the wreath.
Attach ribbon to the top of the wreath and glue in place.
Finished! Hang on the door or in the house and enjoy your autumnal Halloween decor.
All the items used (except the leaves and acorns!) can be found at Hobbycraft along with lots of other essential seasonal products.

Oh I love it Jenny! I keep thinking I should do some autumn crafts, we love getting outside and kicking in the leaves and collecting conkers and nuts.
