We’re halfway through September, the nights are getting earlier and blackberries are ready to eat, which clearly means Autumn is here. With Autumn firmly in place we start to turn our thoughts to Halloween and all the fun it brings. What’s not to love about dressing up and getting sweets?! My 5 year old is excited already!
We recently received some Halloween goodies from Bostik bloggers to create with. The boys loved all the Halloween pieces and we made a little paper chain for the door way. Very straightforward!
We also made this cute lantern with spider web shadow, perfect for a spooky vibe and easy to make!
You will need:
clean glass jar
tealight
spiderweb fabric
glitter
glue
ribbon
decorative sequins
- First cover the jar in glue and hold the spiderweb fabric down whilst it dries a little.
- Glue ribbon around the top of the jar.
- Add glitter and spooky sequins onto the web.
- Once dry you can add a lit tea light inside and enjoy the spooky pattern in the dark!
Enjoy!

what a fab idea! I already have a few jam jars collected so will be sure to put them to good use with the kids.

Oh I love that! I really like anything that shows off a candle nicely and that’s so creative. I can’t believe it’s nearly Halloween already, eek!
