I have owned and worn the same pair of Meindl walking boots for 13 years now, they were a great pair of boots, but are now rather hole’y’. As we’re out in all weather I need to have a good pair of comfortable walking boots, so when Tresspass asked if I would like to review any of their items I knew exactly what I would like to review.
When I was at university I worked part-time at the Trespass store in Aberdeen. I was quite impressed with the variety of options they had, there really was something for all budgets. It’s been a while since I was at university, but I knew that the boots I was to review would be good quality.

When the Ridgeway Ladies Technical boots arrived I had to try them on straight away and was pleased at how comfortable they felt. The cushioning around the ankle gives excellent support, which I need for walking over rough ground with a 2 year old on my back!

The first outing for my lovely new boots was a bike ride with my two little ones. A few outings later and they are not quite so shiny and new anymore. Mud splattered, but waterproof, warm and cushioned, they definitely get top marks for comfort.

The Ridgeway Technical Boots also have a rubber Vibram sole, which has been engineered to be particularly durable and hardwearing.

You can choose from brown (as I wear here) or grey Ridgeway boots and they are currently only £67.99 (RRP £129.99).

I love these boots and would highly recommend them to others who are looking for quality boots at a decent price.

Those boots sounds great. Definitely what you need when you live in Scotland. I got a new pair of boots in July just before i walked the Arran Coastal Way. Think i tried on about 15 pairs before i found a pair that were comfortable! x
