I’m sure we’ve all been there, with the toddler screaming at seemingly silly things, but clearly upsetting to them.
Here’s a few things that have set off my two:
1. Upset that when pulling his sock it was coming off, so I pulled it off for him and then A had a major tantrum as he wanted it back on. However, whenever I tried to put it back on he ran off sobbing and cuddling his sock so I couldn’t get it!
2. The cracker broke in half. Needed a new cracker immediately, although it took a looong time to calm down to eat it.
3. We only have the same food as normal in the cupboards, but O wanted something different. No matter how much convincing that we couldn’t just magic something new up, but we could walk to the shop. He was hungry NOW and wanted something different to eat NOW.
4. The wheels on the toy train weren’t moving fast enough. Not much I could do about this but try and find a substitute, of course nothing else was right either…
5. His legs were too sore to go on his bike back to the car, so he had to walk (which is harder work as he can push the bike along and have legs off the ground…) the 1.5 miles back to the car. He screamed and cried the entire way, nothing would placate him, I couldn’t carry him as I already had his brother, bike and nappy bag. That was not a fun walk…
What has set your little ones off?

Ahhh he’s so cute before the storm! The littlest things like that can set them off. Sometimes I think it’s better not to appease them & to let them get it out of their system. They eventually calm down. It’s unfortuante when it happens in public though 🙂 #TwinklyTuesday x

Oh, I can so relate to this. Oliver had a terrible strop this morning because I spoke to Nanny and apparently only he can speak to Nanny! haha. That photo is very cute, he looks like butter wouldn’t melt 🙂

I love the reasons that toddler have tantrums! A biscuit that got broken – how could you possibly eat a broken biscuit? Serving food up on a pink plate when they wanted a blue plate! Imagine if adults behaved like that! Thanks for linking up to the #BinkyLinky

All SORTS of things set the boys off. The tiniest of things that any ‘normal’ person wouldn’t bat an eyelid at. Toddlers are funny creatures aren’t they?! 😉 Thanks so much for linking up with us — hope to see you next time 🙂 #TwinklyTuesday

Aww poor thing 🙂 It is tough being a toddler! So independent, and yet so little 🙂 We are experiencing similar things in our house too, and I guess, if you can’t cry you might as well laugh about it 🙂 #binkylinky
Emma's Mamma says
Oh bless him! We’ve been having a few of those lately. Emma wants to watch Aristocats all the time and if she’s can’t or if it finishes she cries her eyes out and the whole world comes crumbling down.. #MaternityMondays
