As you know we have had a lot of snow recently, which the boys were out in every single day. They had so much fun sledging and building outside and even though we all ended out with freezing cold hands, the boys still had cosy warm feet.
Little Mr A received his very first pair of snowboots from Muddy Puddles just in time for the snowfall.
The SlushStomper Snowboots fit him well, with enough room for a thicker pair of socks or trousers stuffed inside. They are available in 3 different colours and are currently on sale at £21 down from £35.
They are very easy to put on, a zip at the front and 2 velcro straps to tighten. The fastenings make it incredibly easy to put on, unlike previous snowboots that O owned, where we had to help shove his foot down and tie the laces. Anything with minimal effort is incredibly helpful when you already have to spend 20 minutes getting several layers of clothing, hats, scarves and gloves onto two small people!
Mr A is now 2 and seemed perfectly happy stomping around in his Snowboots, although he still has to get used to the more rigid sole, which is completely normal for toddlers who have only been walking for a year!
As A loves his boots we will continue using them as on colder days they are perfect to keep his feet cosy and warm. Hopefully we’ll get more snow again soon too!
Of course, I couldn’t leave Mr O out of this review. He already has some Snowboots, albeit not as good as his little brothers. So he chose these lovely red Puddleflex wellies to review.
O was drawn to the quilted cosy upper of the Puddleflex wellies, they definitely feel cosy when I have helped him tie the cord to tighten the upper. The wellies are also lined with polar fleece, so are the perfect footwear for cooler days in spring and autumn, and of course the milder days in winter.
The wellies rubber is sturdy, but flexible enough for the rough treatment given by young children and I love the reflective strip on the back of the heel. Great on the dark mornings when we are walking down to preschool.
The Puddleflex wellies are also available in dark blue and green and are currently £19 reduced from £24, which is a great price for such cosy, good quality wellies.
If you’re looking for a new pair of snowboots or wellies, then I highly recommend checking out Muddy Puddles, a great selection to choose from at reasonable prices.

Ohh these look great, the red wellies look amazing! Nice to hear the snow boots are easy to put on, I always struggle getting shoes on my 2 year old. So jealous of all the snow you’ve had.xx #whatevertheweather

The snowboots look brilliant, I wish I’d known about them a week ago as I *just* got new boots for my boy. Though they are rainbow striped so he’s very happy with them!

They look perfect for the snow, super cosy and warm. I love that they are easy to do up as well. I hate kids and shoe laces! I am so jealous you got snow! We had nothing right down South!

The boots might work well for my kids as they fit better than wellies – that’s what I posted about! Thanks.

Might try these instead of normal wellies. Thanks!

Love the look of these. They look so cosy and good quality. My children could do with some, they normally slip about in the mud, as wellies don’t often have a good grip. These look very versatile.

These look great! We’ve just been using wellies and thick socks but if we get more snow I think the boys will need an upgrade! Thanks for hosting #whatevertheweather

These boots look perfect for exploring in the snow and super trendy too!

My little ones always find wellies so cold to wear, having a fleece lining built in is a brilliant idea. I love that the practicalities have obviously been thought about carefully when designing both pairs of boots, nothing worse than fighting to get them on and off with cold fingers! #whatevertheweather

The boots look lovely! Looks like the boys had lots of fun trying them out. I was hoping for snow, guess I’ll have to wait until next winter…or move to Scotland! #whatevertheweather

We love Muddy Puddles.. would never shop anywhere else for wellies now. They are the only ones my kids haven’t worn out in a few months and we’ve tried loads!

Those boots look awesome! I love the quilted bit at the top of the red ones…what a good idea. We recently went out for a walk and Magoo was complaining about having wet feet. I thought she was making a fuss, until we got back to the car & saw her wellies had split on the base. We literally poured the water out of her boots. Whoops. Doesn’t look like you’d ever split the bottom of these Muddy Puddles wellies though 🙂 #whatevertheweather

These look really good. I love the features of the red ones! We don’t get snow down here at all, I love all your pictures!!! I wish we could play in some snow. But the red boots look great for all terrains and weathers! It looks like your mini testers had great fun trying them out. I love the quality of Muddy Puddles. xx
