I’m joining in with the lovely Beth over at Twinderelmo again to set my monthly goals through a bucket list.
This is January’s bucket list:
1. Organise a fantastic 2nd birthday for A, I can’t believe he’ll be 2 this month. Yes, read more about his party here and cakes here and here.
2. Increase my social media presence again, my Klout has gone down at the end of. December as I’ve not been as busy as normal, hopefully get back into it again in the New Year. Yes, seems to be going well again now we’re back into the swing of things.
3. Plan a craft/sensory activity every couple of days through the month, again got a little lost after Christmas and haven’t done so much with the kids. Done more this month, although not as much as I had hoped, will try harder next month.
4. Get outside every day (with exception of horrendous rain&/blizzards) as we haven’t done so well recently with all the wet weather. Yes, aside for 2 days when I was feeling awful last weekend, which I’m going to discount!
5. Go sledging, assuming we get some snow by the end of the month! YES! Read more here.
6. Attempt to improve my photography, I only get good good shots by taking lots and lots of photographs and hoping for the best. Slow progress on this one, but I have a few good photos, particularly the snowy days last month.
7. Ebay items of clothing not getting used. Cheating here as I have already taken photos, just need to actually put them up! Yes, all done.
This month’s list:
1. Visit a few local attractions, we will be lucky enough to have a car at the end of the month to get to a few more places we can’t normally visit during the week.
2. Make a start on the gift making for the year, I have a long list of crafts to start on.
3. Plan what to plant in the allotment this year.
4. Start digging over the allotment in preparation for the new season.
5. Plan where to go camping this year, we know we’re going to Orkney, but I would also like to go camping a few other short weekends away.
6. Increase Klout score, keeps fluctuating within 68, but would like it to get to 69 by the end of the month.
7. Get crafting every day or two with the boys.
Have a great month!

You did great with all your aims in January, it’s really difficult to get some momentum going again once the holidays have been and gone isn’t it?! Sounds like you have a fun & busy February lined up. I’d love to be planning a short holiday somewhere, maybe I could start doing a bit of research so I know where I’d like to go in the unlikely event that we get an opportunity this year!

Well done with your January aims, you did brilliantly. Good luck with the crafting and gift making, I’m looking forward to H being slightly older so we can do more of this. She’s just started requesting to draw all the time, which is very cute, but has to be very supervised as a 14 month old with pens can be dangerous (yes they’re washable, but even so!). #monthlybucketlist
