I know it won’t be long before;
you won’t want my cuddles any more;
but still I’ll remember your arms hugging me;
squashing into my neck with a little glee;
you sweetly turn my head to give me a kiss;
and this is something I will surely miss;
for tiny you will no longer be;
but grown into men standing beside me;
yet we still have many a day;
to run and to play;
splashing in puddles, crafting with clay;
glueing and painting, digging and jumping, shouting hooray;
we’ll run together, kicking up the leaves;
I’ll help you when you’re struggling to climb the trees;
we can make castles in the sand;
and use imagination to travel to another land;
but you’ll still be my little boys;
even when you no longer play with your toys;
my babies you will forever be;
I’ll love you both for eternity.
Love Mummy xxxx

Wow, what a stunningly beautiful post. Everyone always says it but it’s so hard to commit every moment to memory and before you know it they’re on to the next stage. Really really lovely words. #bestandworst

Lovely words. It’s so important to make the most of the small person days. Although, I can confirm, there are lots of fun and loving days to be had when they are older too! #BestandWorst
