We recently printed several of the transport themed paper models from Twinkl as an easy play idea for the boys tuff spot.
The models are too difficult for Mr O (4 years old) to cut out, so it was a little time consuming, but with a bit of encouragement from O I had them all cut out and ready to stick together.
He had great fun inspecting each model and telling me about the different parts of the vehicles.
I taped the road tape onto the tuff spot and off he went with his imaginary play.
This is a great play idea for children, but is also useful as part of a wider educational theme revolving around transportation.
We will also be incorporating a couple of other Twinkl resources into this topic including the road themed letter formation mats, which can be used as roads for different small cars and the transport themed dot to dots which are good for practicing counting.

* I received a subscription to Twinkl for the purpose of this post, however all opinions are my own.
