We were recently sent a lovely hamper from Country Baskets to get crafty with. The hamper was full to the brim with great crafting goodness.
We love wildlife and the outdoors in our house and we decided to incorporate that into our craft. Our tadpoles have recently developed into froglets so this is a great craft for those watching their own wildlife develop.
The craft itself is a good mix of painting and glueing, perfect for any age to make or at least help with.
Once complete you can use the box as a ‘small play’ pond with the frogs that clip onto the side, which is great for developing fine motor skills. There are also numerous frog songs that you can sing whilst popping the frogs into the pond.
We also filmed a Vlog for a competition over on Country Baskets, I would love it if you popped over to watch and vote for our entry, simply click here and then scroll across to Monkey and Mouse and click the heart under entry to vote for us. I will be so grateful, I never win voting competitions!

My daughter loves this kind of thing.. very much up her street at the moment. I suspect the flowers would be particularly popular. @rainbowsaretoo #HowtoSunday

Wow, what a lovely collection of craft items. I recall having tadpoles at home when young and being fascinated as they developed their legs and lost their tails. Popping over to watch you video now 🙂

What a brilliant idea! Apart from having great play value, I like how it would help with fine motor skills with the pegging. Much more exciting than pegging a clothes line. I am crossing my fingers for you for the competition. #HowToSunday xx
