Please welcome, Leandra, today’s guest blogger from over at Larabee-uk. Over to you Leandra!
Hello! I’m Leandra and I blog over at http://larabee-uk.blogspot.co.uk you can often find me chatting on Facebook, pinning copiously on Pinterest and trying to work out how to use Klout! I’m a working Mum of one and step-mum to 2 teens, we love cramming in lots of things to do in our family time.
Today T set me a challenge as he does from time-to-time. ‘Mummy can you make me a minion?’ I thought about it for a while and thought I’d have to fob him off with a minion banana I found on Pinterest! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/519602875733618283/
A walk through the kitchen changed these plans as I spotted a bowl of the little yellow ‘things’ from kinder eggs and inspiration hit.
I gathered my supplies and got going…
Supplies
Yellow kinder egg ‘things’
Googly eyes
Black & Blue permanent markers
Silver pen (not shown!)
Glue
I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory, just watch out for the dungarees – as you can see I managed to colour in the holes I’d left for the arms on one (grrrrr!!!)
Nevertheless T was thrilled with them, and headed straight to the snack cupboard to get smarties to fill them with, we’ve since made more for his cousins.

Yeeeeees! If there are two things my little girl loves it’s minions and googly eyes!! I can’t wait to make these. Also I’m totally colouring in all the bananas while they are in bed tonight. Thank you x
