I do love all the kids crafts with a cute finished outcome, but sometimes it’s nice to just let kids do whatever they want and today was one of those days. So a DIY Valentine Card was the craft choice!
As a Bostik blogger we receive a box of themed craft goodies to create fun crafts for kids. This month the box was full of Valentine themed goodies and after creating a quick structured video tutorial for Bostik earlier in the week I thought it would be nice to just let the boys get creative. So we went straight to making a DIY Valentine Card.
I cut a sparkly piece of pink card in half and then laid out the different embellishments, glue and glitter pens as well as scissors for O, then let them get on with it.
They both had lots of fun gluing and positioning their decorations on the card, although I did have to help with the glue and glitter glue as you need to squeeze quite a lot to get the glue out.
I love the resulting Valentine’s cards, very personal to both boys. A’s card is quite messy, gluing pieces on top of each other and O’s is much more organised, trying to squeeze each piece into a space.
Sometimes it’s nice to go with the flow! Kids are more creative when there’s not a set end point directed for them.
Disclaimer: I was sent a box of craft materials from Bostik for this DIY Valentine Card post.

Love how independent your kids are and how unique the cards are too.
